The meeting place for the Seven is the Depths of Scum and Villainy, the Sanctum of Old One Eye, the God of Western Piracy. Each of the Seven wears a coral ring with a soulsteel skull. When one calls a general council, the mouth opens to reveal a compass which unerringly points to a destination precisely 12 hours away which no one else can reach except by tracking a ship which knows the way. Immediately upon arriving a vast tunnel into the depths of the ocean opens, and if the vessel braves it and can pass a difficulty 3 Sail test, they arrive safely in a calm sea near the ocean floor, the wrecks of thousands of ships floating just outside the edge. At the centre of the small sea is a city made of flotsam and lit by thousands of blue lanterns. In the centre of this city is the Depths of Scum and Villainy, the bar at which the Seven meet. A meeting is called any time a new member obtains a ring, typically by killing a previous member. All members feel a sharp pain in their finger any time another member dies while wearing their ring. A powerful Water aspected Manse sustains the Depths of Scum and Villainy, and also powers the rings. Violence is permitted and even encouraged within its boundaries, but not between Rapacious Daimyos attending a general council. Upon departing, a vessel always arrives within an hour’s travel of the location from which it first began the journey.
